The organizers of the Swiss Conservation-Restoration Campus Master Course on Sustainability in conservation-restoration practice are delighted to invite you to a round table on the topic of sustainability in conservation that will take place in hybrid form on Thursday 30th March 6-7:30 pm at Supsi Campus Mendrisio and on Zoom. The event will consist of 3 tenminute presentations and a discussion, and aims to promote knowledge sharing among conservators, as well as other professionals interested in the sustainable care and preservation of cultural heritage.

Speakers:

Karin von Lerber, private textile conservators and consultant in preventive conservation at Prevart : “Is Heritage Conservation sustainable?“

Barbara Neff, curator, exhibitor and natural scientist: “Why it is important to measure the CO2 footprint of museums”

Stefan Wülfert, lecturer in the Department of Conservation and Restoration at the BUA and President of the Federal Commission for Monument Preservation EKD: “Sufficiency and sufficient approach in the built environment”

Following, snacks and drinks will be offered to all participants by Buffet Migrante
